It includes a drama depiction of Native American life, Native American dancing, drumming, exhibits, story telling, taste treats and craft-making demonstrations. Phone: (229) 762-3165 October Picker's Paradise Park Festival Date: Spring and Fall Fall 2004 date: October 7-9 Location: 2217 Maddox Road Ochlocknee, GA This semi-annual bluegrass festival is located on a scenic 10-acre lake and has a welcoming family atmosphere. There are about 125 RV hook-ups for those wishing to bring their campers and stay for the entire weekend (or longer, if desired). The music informally starts Thursday night with bands taking the stage and having some fun. The music officially starts at 7 pm on Friday, but people are usually playing all day in picking circles (aka parking lot pickers). The music starts at 1 pm on Saturday.
